How do you know if your teen is experiencing the normal ups and downs of young adulthood or depression? The truth is, many parents struggle to recognize the serious signs of mental illness. The C.S. Mott Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor, Mich., recently conducted a poll of 816 parents with at least one child in middle school or high school and found some interesting results.
