You may or may not know the name Hayden Hurst, but that's not important here. What IS important is his story. He's an athlete at the highest level of his sport and yet there was a period in his life where he didn't want to exist anymore.
He was given a second chance and he's taking full advantage of his platform.
Grab a tissue and spend 12 minutes with him and his family as they relive his battle with depression and how his experience has pushed him to help other youth.
Hayden now runs the "Hayden Hurst Family Foundation," which focuses on open the communication channels to talk about mental health. They hope to not only eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health, but provide guidance and support for people in need.
