As you probably know, the coronavirus is a rapidly evolving issue in the country right now. We are closely monitoring the situation in Colorado and are taking necessary steps to ensure the health and well-being of our participants and anyone who visits the Gold Crown Field House.
As we all navigate this together, there are some things all of us can do to help reverse the transmission rate in our community.
What we are doing:
- Gold Crown is adding hand sanitizer stations in the lobby and both men's and women's restrooms. We also have alcohol-based hand sanitizer available at the front desk.
- High traffic areas will continue to be sanitized before, during and after every event. Our overnight and event cleaning crews disinfect all counter tops and door handles on an hourly and daily basis.
- Gold Crown will continue to employ weekly antibacterial deep cleanings of our bathrooms, with a special antibacterial solution that keeps bacteria and viruses from sticking to toilets and flush handles.
- Gold Crown will continue to pressure wash all bathrooms on a monthly basis.
All events at the Gold Crown Field House will operate as scheduled, unless otherwise communicated. Please continue to check our website and our social media pages for updated information. Please also check in with the event organizer as some of the upcoming events are not operated through the Gold Crown Foundation.
The Gold Crown Clubhouses will remain open to all youth members while schools are closed. Our modified Clubhouse hours will be from 1 pm until 5 pm Monday through Friday. The Gold Crown Foundation will work closely with school administrators and faculty to support youth learning and safety in any way possible during these weeks of school closures.
Our partners at Children's Hospital Colorado have put together an FAQ page (see below) with information specific to families, including proper hand hygiene and questions kids may have about the virus.
As always, our participants and GCFH visitors are our top priority. We will continue to provide a safe space for your child to participate in athletic events and will send out any necessary updates that impact our community.
Will HS CBC tryouts still happen on this Sun. March 15th? Thank You for your time!
Check with the person in charge of the tryouts. Our facility is open so check with the people organizing the tryout to see if they’re still planning to host them at our facility.
