The Denver Nuggets and Kroenke Sports Charities have been an integral piece of Gold Crown Foundation's success over the years. As one of their Signature Charity Partners, we were honored at a Denver Nuggets game, recognizing our partnership. Over 200 Gold Crown coaches, players and parents attended "Gold Crown Night" and some lucky players experienced extra game activations.
Girls 6th Grade Arvada West and Denver South represented the 400+ teams playing in our 2023 Basketball Leagues. Players participated in the Red, White, and Blue crew during the national anthem, delivered the game ball, and scrimmaged at half time.
CEO and Co-Founder, Bill Hanzlik, was up to take the Wester Union First Shot to kick-off the game. He wisely passed the ball to Leyton Rogers, "Nugget for a Game" and past Gold Crown Basketball participant. The crowd cheering says it all!
Kroenke Sports Charites also recognized their dedication to the foundation with a check presentation. We are extremely grateful for our partnership and their funds have been used to directly support programs and operations at the Gold Crown Field House over the past 20 years.
